Meet the School Council

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives them the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.

Children are elected to the School Council after due democratic process.  The children complete an application form and deliver a presentation after which their peers register their votes in our ballot box.  The votes are subsequently counted and the 9 candidates with the highest number of votes will be invited to make up the School Council.

The School Council support children at lunchtimes clearing the hall and reminding children to walk in the corridors. The School Council  also supports our 'playground buddy' scheme and give their views on how to improve playtimes.

Our School Council have two meetings per half term to discuss ideas on how to improve our school as well as discussing fundraising ideas for the school.

To be a member of our School Council is to be a role model for our school and our community.
