Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.
Children are elected to the School Council after due democratic process. The children apply to stand for a vacancy and deliver an election statement after which their peers register their votes, which are subsequently counted and the 8 candidates with the highest number of votes will be invited to make up the School Council.
The School Council's current project is organising a fund raising event to support our link school in Uganda.
The School Council has also developed 'playground pals' scheme and given their views on how to improve playtimes.
