Newsletter 5 – 20th December 2013

Dear  Parents / Carers,

Christmas 2013:

Thank you for all your kind cards and presents, they are very much appreciated. Thank you also for your support over the last year.  We continue to develop to provide the children with the best possible opportunities.  We strive to live up to our vision statement ‘Aiming High, Achieving Together’.

Our Christmas production received tremendous congratulations. The children were fantastic as always and thanks to all the staff for all their hard work.  Thank you for your generosity in supporting our Advent Charity.  You raised an amazing £334 which will purchase resources for the spring term topics.  How will we ever forget Alvin Nkansh- Masters as Father Christmas!!

On behalf of the staff, governors and pupils, we wish you a happy and safe Christmas and we look forward to welcoming you back safely in the New Year.

Nadolig LLawen (Happy Christmas in Welsh!!)

A huge thank you to “The Friends of Merton” for all their hard work over the last few weeks. They have provided refreshments for evening Christmas performance, organised the Christmas Fayre and Secret Santa Wrapping. Quite a feat along with all the other things they do!
