Newsletter 4 – 9th December 2013
Dear Parents / Carers
Christmas has truly started!! The Dress Rehearsal was fantastic and I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy the performances this week. Thank you for all your help with costumes and practicing lines with your child. Please note the evening performance tickets are now all allocated, any further requests will be placed on a waiting list.
On Monday 16th December, the children will have their Christmas Lunch at 12.00pm. To get us all in the festive mood, the children can wear red and green.
Please make sure you send in £2.00 by next Monday, unless your child is entitled to free school meals. Please also make sure all outstanding dinner money is paid before we break-up.
On Tuesday 17th December, the children will watch ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ pantomime which has been funded by the school Friends of Merton.
We are also planning a Carol Concert with the junior school on Wednesday 18th December at 3.30 – 4.00p.m. in the infant school hall. We hope that many of you will join in the festivities.
The Christmas Post box is now available in the school office. Please ensure that all Christmas cards have the child’s full name and class on the envelope.
Y1 Chocolate Fayre
Y1 will be holding a Chocolate Fayre to end this half term’s topic on Thursday 19th December at 9.00am.
Applications for YR 2014
Please remember the closing date for YR 2014 applications is midnight on 15th January 2014.
There is a lost property box in the school reception area which is rather full at the moment! Please check it to see if anything belongs to your child. At the end of the month we will donate any uncollected items to charity.
All after-school clubs have now finished apart from football, karate and multi-skills club.
Thank you for your continuing support.
