Newsletter 10 – 28th March 2014
Dear Parents / Carers,
Our school website has now been amended. Well done to Mrs Bennett, Senior Admin Officer, for all her hard work in designing it with Primary Site. Please visit www.mertoninfants.com and view the latest information, including a gallery of children’s work and access to support websites for the curriculum or parental advice. We welcome any feedback or other suggestions of information you would find useful.
We have a vacancy for a Parent Governor. Please see the office for an application form. This role is extremely rewarding as you will be able to influence decisions to improve the outcomes for your children.
We are looking to recruit three lunchtime supervisors to work 12.00 – 1.15pm each day, term time only. If you are interested in this role, please see the office staff for an application form.
Karate, Choir and Multi-skills clubs will go ahead next week. All other clubs have finished this week.
We have taken on Miss Amy Rollinson, a final year PGCE student, from the University of Winchester. Miss Rollinson will be with us until 26th June and will eventually take 90% teaching time in Tawny Owls class. She will continue to plan with Miss Logan to ensure consistency and progression of standards.
